HOW DO I NOMINATE SOMEONE FOR AN HONOUR FROM THE QUEEN?

The Queen is 'Fountain of Honour' and confers awards on the advice of the Prime Minister. Nominations are therefore handled not by Buckingham Palace but by the Cabinet Office; a downloadable form is available from the Cabinet Office web-site.
