PALACE OF HOLYROODHOUSE: The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, accompanied by The Princess Royal, this morning attended a Service in St. Giles' Cathedral for the Installation of the Lord Cullen of Whitekirk and Sir Garth Morrison as Knights of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle.
Her Majesty and Their Royal Highnesses were received at St. Giles' Cathedral by the Chancellor of the Thistle (the Earl of Airlie) and the Dean of the Thistle and Minister of St. Giles' (the Very Reverend Gilleasbuig Macmillan).
The Hon. Michael Ogilvy (Page of Honour to The Queen) was in attendance.
A Guard of Honour was mounted in Parliament Square West by The Queen's Body Guard for Scotland, Royal Company of Archers, with the Colours of the Royal Company, under the command of Lieutenant, the Earl of Dalhousie, and accompanied by the Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave a Lunch Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse for the Knights of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle.

Michael Ogilvy (Page of Honour to The Queen).
Mr. Robin Blair was received by Her Majesty this afternoon and delivered up the Lyon Baton upon his retirement as Lord Lyon King of Arms and Secretary of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle.
Mr. David Sellar was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Lord Lyon King of Arms and Secretary of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle and received from Her Majesty the Lyon Baton.
CLARENCE HOUSE: The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the Asian Music Centre, Acton, London W3, and were received by Mr. Robert Leader (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Service of Celebration in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, to mark the Sixtieth Anniversary of the National Health Service.
The Prince of Wales, President, afterwards visited the Annual Degree Show at The Prince's School for Traditional Arts, Charlotte Road, London EC2.
His Royal Highness, President, this evening gave a Dinner at Windsor Castle for The Prince's Trust Technology Leadership Group.
BUCKINGHAM PALACE: The Duke of York, Past Captain, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, this morning opened the new Castle Course at St. Andrews on behalf of the St. Andrews Links Trust and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Fife (Mrs. Brian Dean).
His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this afternoon visited Lenovo, Inverkip Road, Spango Valley, Greenock, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Mr. Guy Clark).
The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, afterwards visited Picsel Technologies, Titanium House, Braehead Business Park, King's Inch Road, Glasgow.
BUCKINGHAM PALACE: The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the International Council, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award International Association, this afternoon received His Excellency Mohammed Al Gergawi (Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs United Arab Emirates) at Bagshot Park.
BUCKINGHAM PALACE: The Princess Royal, Visitor, this afternoon visited Strathcarron Hospice, Randolph Hill, Denny, Stirlingshire, and was received by Mr. Robert Sherriff (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Opportunity International United Kingdom, this evening attended a Dinner at Kinfauns Castle.
KENSINGTON PALACE: The Duke of Gloucester this morning unveiled Lloyd's War Memorial and subsequently attended a Lunch at Lloyd's, One Lime Street, London EC3.
ST. JAMES'S PALACE: The Duke of Kent, Fellow, this morning visited the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition at 6 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.
