THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT IS ISSUED BY THE PRESS SECRETARY TO THE QUEEN

Have you met The Queen or another member of the Royal Family? Have you attended a Royal event such as a Garden Party or Investiture? Do you have fond memories of watching a Royal event in person or on television, or listening to it on the radio?

The Web Team at Buckingham Palace is interested in hearing about your Royal memories. If you would like to share them with others, please put them in an email and send them to memories@royal.gsx.gov.uk. A selection of submissions will appear online on www.royal.gov.uk when it is re-launched later in the year.

Please write no more than 500 words, and include the following information in your email:

Your name
Your age [optional]
Your town/city and country
Please indicate if you have any photographs or video relating to your memories which you would be happy to appear online. The Web Team will contact individuals at a later date if they are interested in obtaining this material. PLEASE DO NOT ATTACH THE PHOTOGRAPHS OR VIDEO TO YOUR ORIGINAL EMAIL.
